The Town of Bellefonte Commission tentatively set Bellefonte Day for Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., during its July 13 meeting. Commissioners also approved funding of up to $1,000 to pay Boy Scouts to rebuild the town meeting notice board under the supervision of Ken Neborak; Scott MacKenzie made the motion and Andrew Ritchie seconded it, with all commissioners voting in favor.
The notice-board project will be carried out by local scouts under Neborak’s supervision, and the approved funding is intended to cover materials and supervised labor. The Bellefonte Day date is tentative pending further planning by the Commission and volunteer organizers; the Commission did not set a final production schedule at the meeting.
