Two additional cleanups were included: renaming a position reference from “contract specialist” to “contracts and grants manager” and clarifying the mayor’s contracting authority for dark fiber lease modifications. Council members thanked finance and contract staff for manually updating roughly 900 open contract numbers to conform with the new format.
The ordinance passed on a roll‑call vote (ayes 7, nays 0). The clerk read the roll and recorded the ayes.
