Nutter Fort council unanimously adopts FY 2026–2027 General Revenue budget

Recorder Natalie Haddix moved and Councilor Charlene Louk seconded a motion to accept the Town of Nutter Fort’s FY 2026/2027 General Revenue Budget; a roll call recorded affirmative votes by Councilors Rick Lafferty, Karen Phillips, Charlene Louk, Sam Maxson, Recorder Natalie Haddix and Councilor Shawn Spurlock. "Motion passed unanimously to accept the 2026/2027 General Revenue Budget," the minutes state.
The budget had been reviewed at the council’s March 16 budget workshop, and Treasurer Leslie Cummings told the council the FYE2025 audit is complete and was submitted to state and federal government the same day. Cummings said the audit report will be emailed to all council members by the end of the week. No amendments to the budget were recorded at the meeting.
