The superintendent also highlighted increases in special-program counts: Career and Technical Education (CTE) enrollment rose, and special-education totals climbed in part because dyslexia was moved into the special-education category under state reporting changes.
The superintendent described the district's use of regional data tools for "what if" STAR projections while official state performance ratings remain delayed. She said some interim tests and EOC retesting have been completed and that UIL and other academic activities remain a focus. Staffing decisions tied to enrollment changes were framed as part of long-term fiscal responsibility and instructional planning.
