Vice Chair Ariana told the commission the infrastructure committee has compiled orientation documents and received seven boxes of historic records for the Anchorage Women's Commission, which the committee intends to digitize for preservation and access. "We heard from our, lovely staff people that we got the historic files for the women's commission. There are 7 boxes," Ariana said, noting the materials date back many years.
Ariana also raised meeting-format options, proposing a discussion about whether meetings should be Zoom-only, Teams-only, hybrid, or in person, and asked members and staff for feedback. She said she would collect comments and circulate documents by staff email, with the goal of bringing a formal recommendation to the next meeting. Staff member Ashley from the Anchorage Health Department suggested a remote option could be more useful in winter and floated moving the meeting start by 30 minutes if meetings were fully remote to help attendees commute.
