Salary Board creates DHS Clerk Typist 2 position, raises on-call rates

The Tioga County Salary Board unanimously approved creation of a Clerk Typist 2 position in the Department of Human Services and increased DHS backup supervisor on-call standby rates (weekly/weekend from $100 to $150; paid holidays from $125 to $175).
The Tioga County Salary Board convened immediately after the commissioners' meeting and approved staffing and pay changes for the Department of Human Services.
By motion of Kera Hackett, seconded by Marc Rice, the board approved the creation of a Clerk Typist 2 position at DHS. The board also voted to increase DHS backup supervisor on-call standby rates: weekly/weekend standby pay will rise from $100 to $150, and paid holiday standby pay will rise from $125 to $175. The motions passed unanimously by the four board members present.
