City budget covers $3,600 for Oglethorpe Lane interpretive marker

The packet lists fabrication at $3,251 and installation at $250 and states that funding was approved as part of the city’s 2025 Service Program and Budget adopted Dec. 19, 2024.
The application also notes that the city will hold the required escrow payment for markers on public property and that the installed marker will be owned and maintained by the Mayor and Aldermen. "Funding is secured by the City of Savannah's approved FY25 Budget," the application states. The document lists the Escrow Payment as included in the Cultural Resources Department's facility maintenance budget.
