During the superintendent’s informational reports, S2 reviewed the third‑six‑weeks attendance figures and noted the district’s overall attendance rate from the PAIMS release (covering 2022–23) was 94.1%, above Region 20’s 92% and the state’s 93% for that year. "Our goal is to be at 95, 96%," S2 said, noting several grades posted rates in the mid‑90s and that secondary grades were generally above 94% except one grade level.
S2 explained that attendance figures are influenced by the district’s small numbers and that temporary swings of two or three students can change the percentage for a grade. Principals continue to use incentives and targeted interventions to improve consistency, S2 said.
