Administrators emphasized the mechanics behind year-to-year comparisons: the passing standard increased in 2024 (requiring more correct items to meet passing), so parity in outcomes can mask underlying shifts in performance. They highlighted the high school's gain (from C to B) and said Career, College and Military Readiness (CCMR) measures and pathway completions had helped the high school score better in the model.
The administration cautioned that the OnDataSuite outputs are provisional: the state had not released final accountability calculations and the district is still waiting for finalized thresholds. The district plans to share finalized ratings when the Texas Education Agency posts official results.
