At its Feb. 10, 2026 regular meeting, the Town of Annetta North Council approved a motion to authorize Mayor Pro-Tem Rob Watson to negotiate one-year certificates of deposit with the Charles Schwab Brokerage Firm, with total invested funds not to exceed $250,000.
Councilmember Ryan McConnell moved “to have Mayor Pro-Tem Watson negotiate a Certificate(s) of Deposit with the Charles Schwab Brokerage Firm for a one (1) year term with the cost not to exceed two hundred and fifty thousand dollars (250,000.00).” Councilmember Philip Trew seconded the motion; the motion carried 5-0. Council members did not specify the exact account terms or which town funds would be used; the resolution directs the mayor pro-tem to complete negotiations and report back to the council.
