Public Works Superintendent Caleb Ironsyde reported a bid from Timmy Thomas Tree Removal Services to remove three trees from the park for $2,500. Council members requested additional bids and asked Mr. Ironsyde and his crew to evaluate whether they could perform the removal in-house to reduce cost.
Crystal Wade moved to table tree trimming for further bids and staff assessment; Wellington Butler seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The item will return to the June 2, 2026 meeting for further action if needed.
