Committee members pressed staff for more detail on drainage and the retaining wall that has been causing water to run across the roadway; operations staff described prior temporary repairs to the compactor and said a relining/refurbish was being priced. The committee voted unanimously to recommend the $100,000 capital request to the Select Board but tabled additional engineering approvals and asked staff to secure final vendor quotes and engineering clarifications before work commences.
