Sedan reports $40,000 CFAP Dock grant reimbursement; dam inspection timing discussed

City Clerk Lana Smith reported the city had been reimbursed $40,000 for the CFAP Dock Grant and said benches and picnic tables for the KDHE Waste Tire Grant will arrive next week. She also noted follow-up on a memorial bench for Mariellen Appleby and that the Waste Connection contract will require discussion soon because a 3% rate increase is forthcoming.
Public Works Superintendent Caleb Ironsyde said he contacted engineer Matt Eblen with McClure to ask KDHE to postpone the Dam inspection for one year so New City Lake and Old City Lake inspections could be completed together. No formal action on the inspection timing was recorded in the minutes.
