Sedan council approves mayoral appointments and $60,355.08 in bills

The council approved bills and payroll in the amount of $60,355.08 and unanimously approved the mayor's appointments: Lana Smith as City Clerk, Raven Darnall as City Treasurer, William Tunstall as Police Chief, Shawn Butler as Fire Chief, Jeff Chubb as City Attorney, Rebecca Stewart as City Judge, and designations for city banks (Bank of Sedan and Elevate Bank), the city website (cityofsedan.com) and the Prairie Star as city newspaper. Crystal Wade moved to approve the mayor's appointments and Wellington Butler seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
