Committee rescinds 1998 local law on publication timing to comply with state rule

The motion to rescind Local Law No. Five of 1998 was made by Legislator Brian C. Schu, seconded by Deborah Shannon, and carried 5-0. The committee recorded that a formal resolution will be prepared to effect the change.
Casselbury framed the request as an alignment of local practice with state law rather than an operational change to public notification processes.
