"Well, it it it doesn't belong in the CRA because it's been approved. We remove it," said the city attorney (speaker 6) while explaining the legal rationale for removal. Staff and counsel noted that if the board instead wanted the parcel to remain in the CRA, the city would need to reconcile prior tax receipts with the county and potentially address payments for past years; for now the board chose removal and directed staff to draft the necessary resolution and legal description.
