During general public comment, Ernest Alvarado, who lives on South Kenosha Court, asked the council to help resolve a longtime problem: when a sidewalk was poured several years ago, he says a driveway/curb cut was not installed, leaving a high curb that has damaged his vehicle and remains unresolved despite repeated requests to staff.
"I lost the bumper guard of my truck over the curb," Alvarado said, calling for a curb cut to be installed and noting months of unreturned follow-ups. City manager Devin responded in the meeting that staff would ensure someone follows up with him. Council thanked Alvarado for raising the issue and staff noted they will contact him to arrange the next step.
