Traffic counts set for Farmer Road after resident request; SNHPC to collect five days of speed/volume data

The Hooksett Highway Safety Advisory Board approved scheduling traffic and speed counts at Farmer Road west of Whitehall Terrace following a request from Mark Davis of 37 Farmer Road. Town engineer Bruce Thomas said he and highway staff contacted the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission to deploy counters and collect five full days of data for each site.
Thomas told the committee the counts are scheduled for "next Tuesday, September 16," and that data collection will be processed and returned to the town so the committee can review the findings. He noted SNHPC will also run counts on Whitehall Terrace to provide a fuller picture of the intersection and related traffic patterns.
Committee members asked for copies of the schedule and data when available; Thomas said he will email the committee the full conversation and results once the counts are complete.
