District staff presented the proposed activities fees for 2026–27 and noted the document had been prepared by district activities staff. Board members asked several procedural and substantive questions, including how recently rates had been raised and why certain items (for example the drumline) showed larger increases because of how supplemental fees were being applied to program costs.
Superintendent Carson Anderson and staff said hardship provisions remain in place to assist families who cannot afford fees. After brief discussion, the board approved the activities fees by voice/roll call (motion prevailed 7 to 0).
