Mayor: Route 18 repaving expected to finish this month; separate bridge work will affect lanes after New Year

Mayor Brad Cohen said he had been notified by the state Department of Transportation that pavement and repaving work on Route 18 should be substantially complete by the end of the month, with sidewalk and minor light work remaining.
"The Department of Transportation has notified the township that they anticipate the road work on Route 18 coming to a completion the end of this month," the mayor said, and added that a separate bridge project near Iker Street will start with limited initial work and that lane restrictions are expected after the new year. He encouraged residents with questions to attend a DOT public information session at the Community Arts Center on Thursday at 7 p.m.
