Board approves Callaway Hospital District vehicle tax exemptions, tables Custer Care request
Summary
The Board of Equalization approved motor-vehicle tax exemptions for three Callaway Hospital District vehicles and tabled a separate multi-vehicle exemption for Custer Care pending more information; the board also approved assessor-recommended over/under corrections for 2025.
On a motion by Anne Gibbons, seconded by James Markham, the Custer County Board of Equalization approved motor-vehicle tax exemptions for Callaway Hospital District for a 2013 Dodge, a 2019 Dodge and a 2022 Chrysler. The board recorded a roll-call vote of ayes-all on the motion.
A separate request for 14 vehicle exemptions for Custer Care was tabled when board members asked for more information. The board also approved over/under corrections for 2025 as recommended by the assessor, including a correction for Gage Keefe where a 2025 over/under value had not been rolled forward.
