Councilors questioned whether cuts had left the department behind on the 25% annual measurement goal and what a failure to fund revaluation would mean. Duhamel and staff warned that, while the town is on schedule for timing, insufficient funds may force the state to perform a revaluation and then bill the town. The motion to approve the assessing budget passed on a roll call vote.
