Commissioners cut some appropriation requests after reviewing nonprofit finances

For Central Kansas Mental Health, commissioners noted a request for 3% increases and reported the organization holding approximately $16.8 million in temporary cash investments, leading to a decision to hold or reduce the county contribution pending further justification.
