County to shift bridge repair funds and requests additional truck driver for bridge crew

"Bridal 107. It's the, Sugan Hollow Bridge that's, currently under construction right now. And I actually think they're almost, getting ready to finish that up," the presenter said.
To keep up with inspection items and maintenance lists, staff requested adding another truck driver to the bridge/maintenance account; the requested pay change for that position was discussed in the meeting and staff explained the operational need to divide regular duties and bridge maintenance work. Commissioners asked for documented bridge schedules and inventories of concrete, steel, stone and lumber to inform prioritization.
No formal appropriation or hiring action was taken at this meeting; staff were asked to provide inventories and updated project schedules for future action.
