At its Sept. 15 session the Hooksett Planning Board took the following formal actions:
- Minutes (Aug. 18) — Motion to approve carried.
- Whitehall / GR Development, 267 Londonderry Turnpike — Continued to Oct. 20, 2025 at applicant’s request. Board requested sight-line renderings, color elevations and clarification on water/blasting testing and fence height.
- 20th Skeet & Clays (Goffstown Road) — Accepted jurisdiction, granted a waiver to submit plans at smaller scale, and approved a 30×60 storage garage with conditions (standing-seam roof; color match; standard conditions 1–3 prior to certificate of occupancy).
- Jonathan Rogers (Whitehall Road) — Accepted jurisdiction; because the existing building does not meet the front setback the board continued the application to Oct. 20 subject to the applicant obtaining a dimensional variance from the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
- Genesis Systems (1143 Hooksett Road) — Accepted jurisdiction, granted necessary waivers and approved an 8-unit residential site plan with conditions. Required conditions included an enclosed dumpster, increase of southern perimeter plantings to eight trees (performance‑zone compliance), condominium declarations/HOA responsibilities for BMP maintenance. The board assessed $13,760 in impact fees (recreation and public safety) per staff calculations.
- Richmond Company (400 Technology Drive) — Accepted jurisdiction on the amended site plan (Amazon off-site parking). Residents and board members objected to office trailers and portable toilets as inconsistent with architectural standards; the applicant will consult with tenant/owner and re-notify abutters. The board continued the hearing to a future date.
Other business included an accepted lot-merger administrative notice and continuation of an SNHU amended site plan to Oct. 6.
These votes are reflected in meeting minutes and staff will post revised plan materials and next-agenda dates as applicants comply with requested actions.
