Daniel Khan moved to establish the Montgomery Skate Park Committee as a standing committee under the Recreation Board; the motion was seconded by Chris Dixson-Boles and approved 4–0.
Board members said recognition will allow the committee to coordinate more formally with the Recreation Board and municipal staff on planning, fundraising and permitting as needed. The board did not take any financial action at this meeting; follow-up items will likely appear on future agendas as the committee proceeds with planning.
