Ironsyde said Caney Valley Electric repaired electrical issues at the city pool and noted the lower diving board rail needs welding. He requested approval to purchase a 110-volt welder; the council instructed staff to solicit bids for a 110/220 welder to include in next year’s budget. The city received an AT&T bill for $1,931.95 to cover phone lines damaged during a sewer-line repair.
Council also approved purchasing a smaller chainsaw from Linn's Air Cooled Engines not to exceed $600 after a motion by Nathan Blankinship and a second by Crystal Wade. KHDE will send a representative to the lakes and city park to research ticks.
