Board approves routine administrative designations, legal counsel and delegations

As part of organizational business the Kenyon-Wanamingo board approved a set of routine administrative actions: continuing with the district's designated bank depository, retaining the district's legal counsel, continuing the district's official newspaper for public notices, and delegating a set of financial and administrative authorities to the superintendent and business office.
Specifically, the board approved the recommendation to continue with the district's bank depository and retained its existing legal counsel (recorded in the minutes as Ratwick, Rosnick, and Maloney). The board also authorized the superintendent or designee to make short-term investments, authorized the business manager and bookkeeper to perform electronic transfers, and approved delegating routine clerk and treasurer functions to the superintendent. All motions were seconded and passed by voice vote, 6-0.
