The Kenyon-Wanamingo board unanimously approved a resolution accepting several donations to support career-technical and performing-arts programs. Deb Buchanan introduced the resolution listing a 6×12 enclosed tool trailer for the carpentry class (valued at $3,000) donated by Knobelsdorf Electric, construction-themed books for kindergarten donors again attributed to Knobelsdorf Electric, a case of legal paper donated by RAP Land Surveying Inc., and in-kind donations for MMEA band recording and reduced production costs for band programs from Ramble Pictures (Jimmy and Elizabeth Galdea) and All Means Graphics or Rob Schnell Shaniluk.
The board moved the resolution and approved it by roll call 7–0. Trustees said the donations support hands-on instruction in carpentry and reduced costs for student music programming, and they thanked the donors for their contributions to district programs.
Administrators will incorporate the in-kind and material donations into program planning for carpentry and band and will note donor recognition in upcoming communications.
