The Weber County Board of Commissioners approved consent items G1 through G8 on Feb. 24, clearing weekly purchase orders, warrants, minutes and a series of routine contracts.
Finance presenter Ricky Hatch summarized the spending: "For purchase orders, we issued 23 POs this week for $260,000 almost 60% of that amount, a 148,000 is for the conference center, and that is for a boiler replacement for concessions and janitorial supplies," he said. Warrants for the week totaled $1,489,563.78; the largest single payee noted was the City of West Haven for $902,000 (road construction paid with transportation tax dollars). Other significant payments included Weber Human Services ($233,000) and annual dues to the Utah Association of Counties ($87,000).
Commissioners moved and seconded approval of the consent agenda and approved it by voice vote. No commissioners requested further discussion.
