Brunswick Electric donates to three Columbus County high school athletic programs

Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation presented the board with donations to support high school athletics, offering $2,500 to each of West Columbus High School, South Columbus High School and East Columbus Junior-Senior High School. Superintendent (S2) introduced the cooperative’s representatives and asked principals to come forward for a photo after the presentation.
"We're just really excited about partnering with y'all," said Brooks Versace, manager of member engagement for Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation, announcing the checks and describing an annual special presentation at one school for an additional $2,400. The board thanked the cooperative for its contribution; Chair (S1) noted the district's appreciation for Brunswick Electric’s support and its role in providing affordable electricity to the county.
