At the public-comment portion of the June 8 meeting, resident Chris Spiegl of 260 Scenic View Terrace told the commission: "Annotated Code 13-4-304A requires that notice be sent to the property owner concerning a second hearing and that no notice was sent to anyone." Attorney Martha Brooke Perry responded that the property owner had requested the item be placed on the May agenda and "no notice was required since the owner was the one that requested it be on the May agenda," according to the minutes.
Resident Susie Coleman of 502 Scenic View Drive urged the commission to label Dreamland Estates as a re-subdivision, saying it "has not been done" and that the condition was to have been met in both Davidson and Cheatham counties. The minutes also record Commissioner Jim Durham saying there were five lots instead of four; Attorney Perry said because the original lot exceeded five acres it was not treated as a subdivision and noted the plats were approved with signatures for recording in Davidson and Cheatham counties. The record does not show the commission made a formal ruling on the claims during this meeting.
