Ricky Hatch summarized the spending and said, "We issued 11 purchase orders this week for $206,000." He told commissioners that roughly $245,000 of the warrants covered ice-sheet improvements, including a Zamboni purchase, and that about $129,000 was a tourism fund contribution to the Ogden-Weber Convention and Visitors Bureau. Hatch also said the library and recreation department accounted for other significant shares of the week’s expenditures.
Chair Gage Farr asked for questions and none were raised; a commissioner moved to approve the consent items that included the finance items with item F8 held for separate consideration. The motion was seconded, commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
The finance presentation also listed top payees for the week and categories of spending presented by Hatch, including utilities, payroll/insurance, and vendor payments. Exact line-item totals were read from the report during the meeting.
