Planning staff (Scott) presented a request to rezone three parcels at 3350 East 1400 North to create three additional single-family building lots. He said the property currently is divided into three parcels and described the requested designations: "Parcel 1 is 2.71 acres in size... the request would be to rezone it to R A 2.5. Parcel 2 is 5.16 acres... rezone to R A 5. And Parcel 3 is 1 acre and it will be rezoned to RA 1."
Scott told commissioners the planning commission had unanimously recommended approval subject to the findings and conditions in the staff report, and that the final survey plat would include language restricting building permits until irrigation water shares are converted to culinary water service. A commissioner moved to approve the ordinance as explained by Scott; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The change is administrative and tied to later utility and permitting steps: staff emphasized that final building permits and infrastructure approvals remain necessary before any lot is built. The commission took no amendments and the ordinance passed without recorded roll-call opposition.
