The board approved a consolidated consent agenda on Oct. 8 that bundled a large set of personnel actions, activity-fund acceptances, field trip permissions, budget transfers and authorizations.
Notable personnel actions included acceptance of the retirement resignation of Todd DiGrigoli, Food Service Director, effective Dec. 20, 2024; acceptance of resignations of monitors Alexandria (Houseworth) Mokhiber and Colleen Dorval; the appointment of multiple probationary Teaching Assistants (including Kacey Veakins, Tara Patterson, Michelle Schmidt) with specified start and expected probationary periods; and several extracurricular and substitute and chaperone assignments. The board also approved field trips including a UMass Band Day (Oct. 26) for 50 marching-band participants and a Washington, D.C. trip (Feb. 25–28, 2025) for approximately 125 eighth-grade students.
The consent package authorized execution of documents including an Architect Pre-Referendum Agreement and several memoranda of agreement (ICTA APPR, Literacy Coach, ICAA Contract). It also accepted the Internal Claims Auditor's report for September 2024 and authorized budget transfers as listed in the board materials. The consent agenda was moved by Matthew Nelson, seconded by Christopher Scoville and recorded as carried in the minutes.
