Cole County commissioners approved a FY25 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) subrecipient agreement that provides a total award of $66,004.04 for the county’s emergency management operations.
“The total award amount is $66,004.04,” the county chief said, noting the county’s responsible share is $33,222.50 and that the grant will reimburse roughly half of the salaries for the emergency management director and the administrative assistant. The chief said the award covers the period 07/01/2025 through 06/30/2026 and that distribution was delayed while the matter was in federal court; the funds are now released.
Commissioner (Speaker 3) moved to sign the subrecipient agreement and the motion was seconded and approved by the commission.
