Town reports progress on residential meters, SCADA fixes and backup connectivity

“Large flow meters are now reporting accurately,” the administrator said, crediting a contractor named Cody for reviewing settings and reducing nuisance alarms. He added the town will set up a VPN so the contractor can perform remote troubleshooting in the future.
The administrator also said Silver Star will run fiber to the Public Works building and the town will keep a Starlink account in standby as an inexpensive redundancy. Staff said a generator is available and a UPS will be configured to keep critical monitoring systems online. No formal action was taken; staff said they will return with updated meter data next month.
