Trappe schedules interviews after three bids received for ENR treatment plant design

Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan told the Council the Town received three bids in response to its RFP for ENR treatment plant design and bidding: Rauch, Inc. at $345,260 plus $45,000 for PFA treatment (total $390,260); KCI, Inc. at $632,000 plus $47,500 for headworks (total $679,500); and GMB at $721,254.73 plus $64,967.16 for PFA treatment (total $786,221.89). Ryan said the Council had received a scoring criteria to evaluate proposals.
After discussion of the proposals and evaluation criteria, the Council scheduled a Special Meeting/Workshop for March 13 at 1 p.m. to interview the three firms prior to making a selection. No award or final decision was made at the March 5 meeting; the interviews will provide the record and opportunity for the Council to apply its criteria before voting.
