The Town Council discussed an ARPA-funded sewer liner project during its Feb. 12 workshop and asked Livingston Septic to return with a plan and cost estimate. Council members reviewed a sewer camera report identifying which sewer mains should be prioritized for lining; Chris, representing Livingston Septic, said he will prepare pricing to line the mains and to install a lateral for each affected connection.
Council members were told that $75,000 is allotted for the project. Chris also proposed a yearly maintenance plan that would divide the town into sections and cycle through jetting and vacuuming each section on a three-year rotation; he offered to sign a three-year contract to perform maintenance and to install liners the council directs. The council said it will review Livingston Septic’s price proposal before making a final determination on how to proceed.
