Members discussed whether to place the mission statement prominently at the top of the page and where to show the five focus teams. Commissioners also asked for practical onboarding details to be added. Anthony Fitzpatrick said that when new commissioners sign in at City Hall they take an oath and that the document should explain that step; he volunteered to draft the exact sentence.
The group agreed to date the document (May 20) in a footnote and to display a concise mission statement at the top with links to additional resources. Emily said she will incorporate edits, and the commission will revisit the revised draft at the next meeting.
