When the board convened as the Weiser Ambulance District, Ambulance District Director Alan Foster presented payroll and bills for approval and reported on vehicle repair estimates.
The board approved Order No. 26-42 for payroll expenses ($22,526.83) and Order No. 26-43 for general expenses ($6,406.78). Foster said bids for replacement of an ambulance engine and cooling system were approximately $23,000 to $25,000 but that Ford Motor Company had agreed to replace or repair the engine at no cost to the district. Foster also briefed commissioners on other ambulance vehicle repairs and said the district would discuss election-related consultant recommendations at the Aug. 17 meeting.
The motions to approve payroll and general expenses were recorded as carried in the minutes.
