During the Aug. 3 meeting the Board of County Commissioners approved routine financial items and administrative permits as part of their consent business.
Commissioner Jim Harberd moved and colleagues approved the Operation in Funds/Statement of Treasurer's Cash for May 2026 ($16,602,439.33) and July 2026 ($16,764,963.14); Commissioner Gordon Wilkerson recorded abstentions on the treasurer cash approvals. The board also approved the Treasurer/Auditor Joint Quarterly Report for April 1 through June 30, 2026, and approved demand warrants including $470.76 payable to Wex for fuel and $123.39 to U.S. Bank Equipment Finance for a copier lease. Other routine actions included approval of an affidavit of lost warrant payable to Michael Fifer, certificates of residency for Michaela Young and Danner Morris, and two Alcohol Beverage Catering Permit Applications for Sunnyside Farm & Events LLC (doing business as Sunnyside Sips) for events on Aug. 18 and Aug. 29, 2026.
