The Board recessed to convene as the Weiser Ambulance District during the Aug. 3 session and approved Order No. 26-42 for payroll expenses totaling $22,526.83 and Order No. 26-43 for general expenses (approximately $6,406.78). The motions to approve both orders carried.
Ambulance District Director Alan Foster told the Board that bids to replace the ambulance engine and cooling system were running about $23,000 to $25,000, but said Ford Motor Company agreed to replace or repair the engine at no cost to the district. Foster provided an update on other vehicle repairs and said the board will revisit election-related consultant advice on Nov. election business at the Aug. 17 meeting.
The district returned to County Commission business after the ambulance matters were completed and the approved orders will be recorded in district financial records.
