Health Director reported that the recent 'Living Welfare' outreach event went well, with strong turnout and multiple town staff participating.
“We had really good representation,” the Health Director said, thanking staff and volunteers and noting that nurses provided presentations on ticks and mosquitoes. The director highlighted attendance by the town administrator and members of the youth action team and emphasized that being next to the farmers market generated useful foot traffic and public questions.
Staff also asked whether board members would sign up to help at Town Day; they said planning meetings are underway and that some staff have already signed up. No formal decisions were made at the meeting about Town Day staffing.
