At the June 1 meeting the Redfield City Council approved payment of city and hospital claims. The minutes list City prepaid claims of $5,425.22 and city unpaid claims of $88,387.43. Hospital and Clinic prepaid claims totaled $186,343.80 and unpaid hospital and clinic claims totaled $141,997.98.
Council also approved additional claims listed in the minutes, including Gillette Trust for $102,722.84 (land purchase), Redfield Ace Hardware $5,304.12 (supplies & materials), SD Dept. of Agriculture $1,000.00 (drinking water fee permit), Avera Occupational Medicine-SF $37.70 (drug testing lab), TwoTrees $80.75 (Trend Micro & Backup Rep Ent Plus), Cole Papers $444.32 (hand soap), Midcontinent Communications $1,016.24 (phone & internet), NWPS $252.17 (electricity), and David Moeller (Lawncare) $252.07. The motion to pay claims was moved by Mike Siebrecht, seconded by Matthew Weller, and carried on a roll-call vote with all members voting "Yes."
