Commissioners discussed technical readiness, structural evaluations and the need for a kickoff with the installation consultant; staff said design evaluations should be completed by the end of the year and that the project is eligible for funding through the consolidated application process.
The commission moved to provide a support letter for the solar project; the chair called the vote after discussion. Commissioners emphasized tying the letter to clear project scope and structural evaluation timelines.
