Commission approves driveway alterations at 40 Bunker Hill with conditions; member recused

Linda Riley, an ICC member and owner of 40 Bunker Hill Road, presented proposed driveway alterations that will reduce the paved area and replace it with grass and pervious pavers. Chair Hughes and other commissioners emphasized sediment controls; Hughes recommended silt‑soxx, pervious materials and pre‑ and post‑construction inspections by the Conservation Agent.
Because Riley is an ICC member and abutter, she recused herself from the vote. Commissioner Stone moved to approve the SPP with the three conditions; the motion was seconded and passed with five votes in favor (Riley recused). The minutes note materials will be staged on the sidewalk pavers and that the work is outside the wetland but in the buffer zone.
