Asma Syed, Ipswich Open Space Manager, presented a Conservation Restriction (CR) that will replace the existing deed restriction for the 1‑5 Rosewood Drive property. Under the CR, 8.6 of 13.9 acres are restricted; Syed said the restricted acres are not open to the public but are open to the residents of 1‑5 Rosewood Drive. Chair Hughes noted the CR was required by the project’s Order of Conditions and that the Select Board must also vote to approve the restriction.
Commissioner James (Jim) Stone moved to accept the Conservation Restriction as presented; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Patrick Kriksceonaitis and passed unanimously. The minutes note that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts approved the CR and that no public comment was offered at the hearing.
