Consultant Brian Skidmore of Barton & Loguidice updated the board on the village water improvement project, saying 26 of 87 easements have been obtained and 61 remain outstanding. He reported that a public informational meeting addressing downtown construction impacts and funding will be held March 25 at 6:30 p.m.
Skidmore said the water treatment plant contract has undergone an internal review and will be sealed for submission to the New York State Department of Health by the end of the month. He also said Barton & Loguidice will prepare a quote to scope abandonment of Well #3 and that staff will contact the property's owner. The board set a follow-up workshop for Feb. 25 to continue project planning, and trustees were told that remaining easement acquisition and bid timing may affect reimbursement schedules under multiple funding sources.
