Residents press board on frozen-pipe damage and road hazards from farm trucks

During the public-concerns portion of the meeting a resident identified in the attendance list as Lisa Sarradilla said she has "a claim for damages from the water pipe freezing last winter" at 5 West Street and asked the board to upgrade to a 2‑inch water main to allow installation of a pipe warmer. Trustee Jim Crawford said he will meet with DPW member Jared Kline to develop a solution.
Later, Richard Noble brought up a separate public-safety concern that Johnson farm trucks are dropping hay and creating road hazards; Trustee Jim Crawford said he would call the property owner Pat and share names of contractors with Trustee Maryellen Canuel.
